Gold nanorods are rod-shaped gold nanoparticles with dimensions ranging from a few nanometers to hundreds of nanometers. They have rich and unique physical and chemical properties. They have a high surface electric field intensity enhancement effect and continuously adjustable photothermal conversion efficiency. Therefore, they are widely used in It has good applications in sensors and optical devices.
J&K Scientific exclusively sells gold nanorods with different aspect ratios developed by Professor Wang Huan of Northeast Petroleum University. These nanorods are used in photodetectors to enhance the response to infrared light and achieve visible light or near-infrared (NIR) detection. Gold nanorod (129871) mediated polymer photodetector, compared with the original photodiode, the responsivity is increased by 65% under red light detection (see Figure 1) [1]; used for perovskite thin film photoconductivity In the detector, the maximum responsivity reaches 317 A/W, which is nearly 60% higher than the original device. It is one of the best results reported so far for perovskite-based thin film photoconductive detectors [2].
