3-(((Trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)oxy)-2-(trimethylsilyl)phenyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate, abbreviated as TTPM, is a novel domino aryne precursor developed based on the first-generation precursor TPBT. It is obtained by replacing the leaving group at the C3 position of the aryne precursor (–OTf) with a p-toluenesulfonate group (–OTs).
By introducing leaving groups with different leaving abilities at the C3 position, the generation rate of the second aryne can be effectively regulated, thereby enabling nucleophilic–ene and 4+2 domino aryne cascade reactions.
Product Advantages
TTPM represents an extension of the domino aryne reagent system, offering multiple options for different cascade modes with complementary reactivity, thereby enabling a variety of domino aryne cascade reactions.
Compared with the first-generation TPBT reagent, TTPM generates the second aryne much more slowly, requiring a temperature of 130 °C to efficiently achieve nucleophilic–ene and 4+2 domino aryne reactions.
TTPM is stable, easy to store, and convenient to use.
