J&K provides two types of vacuum blood collection tube additives: procoagulant components and siliconizing agents.

• Procoagulant ingredient
• blood coagulant
• It is used to shorten the coagulation time of blood in vitro and promote serum separation. The serum is used for in vitro diagnosis.

Blood coagulation powder
It is used as a coagulant. The preparation steps are as follows:

• Dissolve 60g of accurately weighed coagulant powder in some ethanol (prepare 850ml of ethanol in advance), and stir until completely dissolved;
• Mix 18g water-soluble silicone oil, 18g PEG 400 and 150ml distilled water in a beaker;
• Mix the solutions in steps 1 and 2 and mix well;
• Rinse the container and stirring rod with the ethanol reserved in step 1, and introduce all the rinsed ethanol into the mixed solution in step 3. Stir continuously and mix thoroughly for 30 minutes.
• Instructions for use: Prepare a water or alcohol suspension, spray on the inner wall of the test tube, and dry at 40-50°C. Or directly add the dry powder into the test tube with a measuring spoon. Generally, 0.5-1mg of this product can quickly promote coagulation of 1ml of blood sample.

Siliconizing agent
Make the vacuum test tube smoother and more convenient to use.

• Water-soluble siliconizing agent
• It is a high molecular weight methylpolysiloxane copolymer, soluble in water, ethanol and alcohol-water systems. It is hydrolytically stable and only needs to be prepared into a solution with deionized water.
• Because water vapor is generated when added to the test tube, it requires a certain amount of time to dry.

Oil silicon
The ingredients are polymeric silicone materials. Petroleum ether needs to be added and stirred during preparation. The drying time is short, the use is smoother, and the tube is not easy to hang on the wall.
serum separation gel
It is a common blood collection tube additive used to separate serum and blood clots in vacuum blood collection tubes.
According to the raw material components, it is divided into acrylate separating gel and resin separating gel. It is an essential material for the preparation, preservation, transfer, transfer and transportation of high-quality serum and blood specimens in clinical testing.
